Sanjukta is a mother, wife, women’s health and empowerment advocate, certified Peristeam Facilitator and Founder of Tridevī Wellness.

After a successful 15 year career as a Business Analyst, Sanjukta embarked on her entrepreneurial journey in 2020. This transition came about once she regained her vitality 17 months after the birth of her first child. Sanjukta sustained a second degree tear from giving birth, but did not heal as expected. Instead she endured recurring perineal infections for 14 months, leaving her unable to walk, sit or stand comfortably whilst navigating the precarious waters of being a first time mother.

“The most debilitating thing was that no doctor could tell me what was causing the infection and what we can do to rectify it. Antibiotics and waiting it out was the only way forward. After two corrective surgeries, waiting it out for 12 months, I was done. I wanted better answers, and an end to this hell.”

And so began Sanjukta’s journey to heal her body and mind after this birth trauma. She had no idea of the power of what she was about to discover and how it would change her trajectory. The alternative practices that ultimately helped her heal were pelvic (a.k.a vaginal or yoni) steaming and scar tissue remediation. Being a long standing advocate for her own health, she coupled these with nutrition and meditation, and fully healed within 5 months, despite a medical doctor prescribing multiple more surgeries and another 12 to 18 months of recovery time.

“I do not want any woman to experience what I endured. There’s a major gap in women’s health, and I was fortunate enough to have found some amazing practices that helped me heal, when no western or traditional doctor could. I want every woman to know there is always a way to heal, that their bodies are not broken and they can take charge of their health.”

With this raison d’être, Tridevī Wellness was born.

“Your body is your one true home, you deserve to feel strong and beautiful in it.”

Sanjukta’s holistic approach to health is evident through her own lifestyle choices, and she embodies what she preaches. From physically building a sustainable straw bale home with her husband (you can read up on that here) to bellydancing for fertility, she dares to go against the grain to carve out solutions that are unconventional yet deliver results.

Sanjukta holds a Diploma of Health Science from the Southern School of Natural Therapies in Fitzroy (Victoria, AU), and is a Peristeam Facilitator as certified by the Peristeam Hydrotherapy Institute in California, USA.

She lives near Kilmore in regional Victoria with her two children, husband, chickens, sheep and a dog named Shanti.

What does Tridevī mean?

The word Tridevī (त्रिदेवी) is Sanskrit for Triple Goddess, the trinity of supreme Hindu deities: Parvati, Sarasvati and Lakshmi. They represent Power, Creativity, and Abundance respectively.

In paganism and western belief systems, the Triple Goddess reflects the three stages of a woman’s life: Maiden, Mother and Sage, depicted as the Waxing, Full and Waning moon.

Tridevī pays homage to both eastern and western philosophies; and honours the Triple Goddess within each woman, no matter what life stage she may be in.
