These photos are from starkly different worlds.
The first one is in 1986 Kuwait… in our front garden at home in Salwa. I was born and raised in a desert of a country, where any hint of greenery was an oasis. My mum tells me that I would delight in the sounds of birds and frogs every time we would visit India as a young child. I literally bloomed as I saw greenery around me.
The second photo is in Australia, Oct 2017, by a wildflower patch near Croajingolong National Park in north east Victoria. My partner and I were travelling to Dragon Dreaming Music Festival as a holiday to celebrate. We had just finished owner-building our strawbale home and received the Certificate of Occupancy. To top it all off, we were getting married in less than 4 months!
It’s amazing how we change and grow, but in the deepest of ways, perhaps we stay the same.
Evolution is imminent, but the willingness to grow with it isn’t.
Where are you willing to evolve, and where do you feel stuck?
I’m embarking on some pretty scary changes, and clearly don’t want to do it alone! Community is my immunity.
Come change with me xx
