My peristeaming journey began in late 2019, as a way to resolve a year long postpartum complication that no medical professional could help with.
I was miraculously healed within 2 months of peristeaming, despite a doctor telling me I have 12-18 more months of recovery to go, with multiple surgeries on the horizon.
To say that peristeaming saved my life and sanity is an understatement.
I currently steam either 2 days before or 2 days after my period. The protocol should be 3 days before and after, but I’m a busy mama of two, and juggling way too many hats.
So I cut myself some slack..
Sometimes I steam as I work at my desk.. sometimes I do it in a dark room with meditation music playing… Each steam is different, but the benefits are the same.
I’ve had what you call a ‘standard healthy period’ since the time I began steaming nearly 5 years ago.
No clots, no pain, no heavy bleeding, no spotting before or after, no dark or pale blood. My cycles are exactly 29-30 days long. My periods are done in 4-5 days. It is clockwork.
I also have no irregular discharge, infections, no leakage or any level of incontinence.
If you ask me, every woman should steam at the schedule that is right for them, just like women of all ages have been doing for millennia all over the world. It is an absolute non-negotiable along with pelvic floor work for postpartum mamas.
If you are curious about steaming and how it may help you, go ahead and book your complimentary discovery call.
I am also about to launch my online herb quiz so you can purchase herbs online as needed. No consultation required.
But I’m always here if you need me.
Now go #steamyourpussy
