Holistic ways to support your birth and labour

Do you want to support your labour, avoid being medically induced, reduce the chances of tearing or help shorten labour time?

Peristeaming (also known as vaginal steaming, yoni steaming or pelvic steaming) is an ancient women’s medicinal practice that is slowly getting recognised by the modern medicinal system for its highly therapeutic benefits.

Currently offered in birthing centres and maternity hospitals around Czech Republic, China and South Korea, peristeaming hails the following:
– resolves digestive issues such as bloating or constipation
– promotes deep, restful sleep
– relieves pain and discomfort
– limits the need for medical interventions to progress labour if labour has stalled
– calms and relaxes the mother-to-be
– shortens labour time
– prevents tearing or injuries.

It is important to note that peristeaming is NOT a ‘labour induction’ method, but rather a ‘labour readiness’ one.

Peristeaming can only be done from week 38 (or week 39 for some) and is contraindicated earlier in pregnancy. It is a beautiful practice that will continue to support your postpartum recovery once your little one is earthside.

To help you establish a peristeaming practice from the comfort of your own home, I’ve created the ‘Ease the birth’ package with a wonderful range of products and services to support your precious journey.

The ‘Ease the Birth’ package is currently on sale for a limited time only, so be quick to see if it is the right fit for you.
